Only Built 4 Turkey and Lettuce

As I ate my first bagel back from school, this subconcious raw hip-hop vibe manifested. I honestly didn't plan on almost eating my substitue traditional wheat bread sandwhich into the logo of one of the tightest rap groups of the 90s, but we'll just run with feeling. I give you the Wu-Bagel.

R.I.P Inspectah Deck. He was the first to show me how intense rap can be when blended with swordsmanship- no pun intended.

Using the "Busy" Token... Again

I usually post pictures and hardly any words- but what's usual these days just seems like a slower form of suicide. So now mostly everything will be an experiment. As unannounced as I would have like that to be, it had to be said.
So here are a few black and whites I've been itching to post.

AND I highly recommend checking out The Madbury Club. If you're reading this Phillip Annand, you're articles are a breath of fresh air among the many post on clothes, headphones, tween idols, and that hint of abstract music of our websites today.

Bartender, where are those darn shots?

New Year- No Sound

IMG_3043
Today there is silence. Today I recollect my thoughts from a late night being downtown. There were British accents, pizza with broccoli, the complete season two of the Boondocks, and my bags are still unpacked from getting back on campus. There are a few things to do, but will be done quietly.

Maybe I'll let my meditative music play from last night while I clean.

Not much sound today, but I can worry about finishing that mixtape tomorrow. Peace.

This was a very dope set to say the least. SUBMiT and Pharoh have been using their talent to dominate hip-hop at a local level, and are generating a buzz that needs no major label deal and no mainstream saturation. Listening to their work gives off a message to let the rest of the world hear it when the time is right, but for now they will continue to promote the funk.

Marcus Wilder x Sanji- Redlight Cafe pt. 2

Their sets were so mellow, so funky, and so mysterious that I could find no contact info on these guys. I assume they were just two music ans who use music as pure expression. It's quite refreshing to see an artist come along without any motives to become some kind of reckless money-maker or to simply "Change the Game." Marcus and Sanji were expressive, and at the end of the show that's all the crowd really asks for. Leave the gimmicks for teenyboppers.
